Ballyshannon was the penultimate station on a 35 mile branch from Bundoran Jct (near Trillick) to Bundoran. The line opened in 1866 and closed in 1957. This is the remains of the station showing the derelict GNR(I)-style signal cabin. There was also a narrow (3ft) gauge County Donegal Railways st
