Part of the old Wigsley Airfield
Aérodrome · Royaume-Uni

Looking north along Wigsley Road. The airfield was constructed in 1942 for use by bombers in World War II and it eventually closed in 1958. Parts of the runways and hard standing remain and they provide useful spaces for the local farmers, in this case for a dung heap.
