Mark Stevenson [[4880286]] identifies this blockwork construction adjacent to Clara Drive as the remains of either a WW2 POW Camp which later became used by Guy's Fireworks as a factory; it closed at the end of 1957 after an explosion on 19 June of that year which killed three workers.
