שרידי כפר ערבי קטן שניצב על הגדה הצפונית של נחל מטע. הכפר נקרא גם עלאר אל-סֻפְלָא (עלאר התחתי), משום שהיה תאום לכפר עלאר אל-פוֹקא (עלאר העלי). בסוף המאה ה- 19, ננטש הכפר ויושב מחדש וניתן לו שמו הנוכחי.
