קבר שייח' עלי (נ.ג. 412) נבנה, כנראה, בתקופה הערבית הקדומה (מאות 7-10 לסה"נ). המבנה המקורי היה בנוי מחלל אחד ומקורה בכיפה. בתקופה הממלוכית (מאות 13-15 לסה"נ) נוספו שלושה חדרים בצד המבנה. מאות שנים שימש המקום מוקד לעליה לרגל.
