Grade II Listed hotel of 1833 with 'R.W.' on rainwater head on extension to rear. By J Foulston of Plymouth. It was abandoned and derelict in 1989, but a property developer purchased it in 2001 with plans to return it to its original state. Fire crews were called in October 2003 to the empty hotel
