Der einstige Ort Schmidtstedt ist heute eine Wüstung im Südosten der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt. An das ehemalige Dorf erinnern heute noch zahlreiche Bezeichnungen von Straßen und Örtlichkeiten in der Erfurter Stadtflur, deren Name sich von Schmidtstedt ableitet.
