On the Bluebell Railway this station opened in 1882 and closed to passengers in 1955; following complete closure of the line in 1958 the station was abandoned and sold. Before acquisition by the Bluebell Railway in 1985 the station was partly demolished, including the whole of Platform 2 on the rig
