The remains of Towanroath Engine House on the coast path north of Chapel Porth (see [[[7746478]]]). Dating from the late C19th it is one of many such abandoned engine houses and former mine workings in this area. Although this remnant is only Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/
