The pub lay empty for over five years after its owner's death. It was demolished in 2013 and the site will be redeveloped for housing. Compare [[1271239]] taken five years earlier in 2009. The old pub sign, bleached beyond recognition, can still be seen on the extreme right of the photo. Update:
