The pub seems still to have been trading in 2021 [[6895875]] but is now closed and boarded up. CAMRA's entry for the venue tells us it was designed and built by Cecil Howitt & Partners for the local Home Brewery between 1964 and 1966 and is on the site of the New Inn, an earlier end-of-terrace pub,
