Opened in 1854 by the Great Western Railway on its lines from Birmingham Snow Hill to both Wolverhampton and Stourbridge, this station closed in 1972. There had been four platforms plus a station building on the extreme right, where the shrubbery now grows. View south east towards Jewellery Quarter
